Description
- 92% zinc-rich dry film coating – provides cathodic protection for ferrous metals.
- Self-healing mechanism – scratches are resealed by the formation of zinc oxide and carbonates.
- Unique combination of flexibility and hardness – high resistance to peeling, flaking and abrasion.
- Exceptional water resistance – strong polymer, zinc-rich film.
- High-performance coating or primer – contains pure zinc, synthetic resin and additives.
- Non-toxic formula – free of lead and chromates.
- Excellent repair of galvanized surfaces – adheres well to metal surfaces.
Apply to a clean, degreased and dry surface for best results.
Remove residual rust and scale with a wire brush or other abrasive method.
Phosphoric acid-based rust removers that leave an electrically insulating film should not be used as this will interfere with the galvanic protective action.
Clean the area to be treated with a residue-free cleaner and make sure the solvent has completely evaporated before proceeding.
Invert the bottle and shake vigorously for 2 minutes after the ball of the stirrer starts to rattle. Shake frequently during use.
Hold upright and spray from a distance of approximately 15-30 cm.
Apply in light, even layers: For best results, apply 2 light layers at 15-20 minute intervals, instead of 1 thick layer.
Additional coats can be applied at 15-20 minute intervals.
Clean the nozzle after use – turn the can upside down and spray for 3-5 seconds until only the propellant comes out.
Touch dry in 15 minutes at 20°C – Full cure in approximately 24 hours at 20°C.
