Molytex EP 2 is a universal lithium EP grease with proven qualities, formulated with stable to mechanical destruction lithium, 12-hydroxystearate soap.
Molytex EP 2 also contains solid molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), which contributes to good lubrication properties, high load capacity and prevents sticking under conditions of high loads. Molytex EP 2 also contains additives to help protect against corrosion and oxidation, and against softening of the grease during operation, and also for the extremely good resistance to water washing.

Applications of Molytex EP 2 in the construction and mining industries and in agriculture include a wide range of grease lubrication points on bulldozers, graders, excavators, cranes and other earthmoving machinery, cranes, rollers, tractors, combines and cotton pickers. This includes all types of assemblies with anti-friction bearings from
plain sleeve bearings to rolling element bearings as well as bushings and other sliding surfaces or hinge joints.
• Molytex EP 2 is successfully used in constant angular velocity joints in the front drive of cars, universal joint joints and for chassis lubrication. The presence of molybdenum disulfide helps to add additional protection against shock loads.
• Molytex EP 2 is formulated to perform well under conditions of very high loads and extreme temperatures, providing excellent resistance to rust and water wash-off.
• Molytex EP 2 is not suitable for high speed rolling bearings.
