Geartex LS are high quality automotive oils
gears developed for application in
limited slip differentials (limited
slip differentials) and meet the requirements of
the API classification for service oils
service category GL-5.
Geartex LS oils are available in the following
SAE viscosity grades: 85W-90 and 85W-140.
Formulated with mineral base oils in
combination with an effective supplement package, esp
developed to ensure the reliable operation and protection of
limited slip differentials.

wear and tear
• Offers reliable protection against wear at
cold start
• Contributes to the stable protection of the system
throughout the life of the fluid

• Geartex LS is specially developed for
application in automotive differentials with
limited slippage. Included in
the special frictional formulation
modifier is approved by ZF for use in
their limited slip systems.
• In addition, Geartex LS can also be used in
other facilities requiring standard GL-5
oil: hypoid transmission axles, steering
devices, non-synchronized gearboxes and not
synchronized transaxial blocks.
The friction characteristics of Geartex oils
LS make them unsuitable for use in
synchronized manual gearboxes and
synchronized transaxial blocks.

• Operating temperatures above +100°C will significantly
shorten the service life of the fluid. Spades
operating temperatures must not exceed
+120°С.
• Geartex LS are not recommended for wet use
braking systems. Basically these systems
require products that have a higher degree of
friction modifications, and can also
generate higher temperatures than those at which
Geartex LS oils can withstand it. In these
applications use 1000 THF.
